I offer private lessons in which all levels are welcome - including beginners. As a formally trained musician with years of performing and teaching experience, I draw upon a diverse array of lesson material, including rudiments and basic technique, coordination exercises, and rhythmic vocabulary from a wide variety of genres.
The most important part of playing drums is to be able to express yourself fluently and musically on the instrument. In order to accomplish this, I aim to provide my students with proper technical foundations and a well-rounded background, utilizing a curriculum that is both fun and challenging. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to provide the essential tools that will help you unlock your creative potential.
Lessons will be held at my music studio, located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, near the 4th ave F, G & R stop.
